90 gigs in 90 days
Whilst studing her masters degree in jazz at Guildhall Maxyne create a summer project called ’90 gigs in 90 days’. She performed every evening for 90 days, criss crossing across London singing at gigs, jazz jams, guest apperances and some recorded performances. She says “It taught me a lot, I really plugged into London’s fabulous music scene and it helped me hone my stage craft skills further. However, studying at Guildhall and doing this project at the same time was very ambitious, it nearly killed me, it took me ages to recover!”
